PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!

Are 3 Gemini's in one house too many?? My dad would say so! June is a busy month for us. We have a birthday every week this month! This week was Grammy's Birthday. And we also threw Kennedy a 2nd birthday party with a few of her friends! With a broken foot, getting prepared sure was a challenge but we managed pretty well. BIG thank you to both of my parents for all of their help this week!
Kennedy's real birthday is June 10th (Thursday) and we plan on celebrating with just the family that day.
We are down to only 61 more days...Kendal is hanging in there, out processing has begun, he is scheduling the day that his belongings will be shipped back home, and he will find out if he has been promoted in just 2 weeks (everyone say an extra prayer for him) Hope you all enjoy this weeks photos~ we wish you all could have been here to help us celebrate!

Kendal has been waiting to see her in these since before she was born
His little country girl~in overalls

I haven't been able to keep up with Kennedy the way I like to with this broken foot of mine
so she has become Grammy's little shadow instead

Helping with the Laundry

How will they ever live with out one another...

Taking a break on a hot day...

Note to Self: Don't leave 2 yr old alone with markers to go get the mail
(and no the mail box is not at the street, it is attached to the house
only 4 feet away from where she was sitting)

Happy 52nd Birthday Grammy

mmm, Grammy got Roses
For the past 2 weeks we have had gorgeous weather in the 80's. I had this grand plan to create the back yard into a water park because Kennedy loves anything that involves water. I had a giant 7ft tall water slide, a pool, a sprinkler, a slip n' slide, and a water table!! The kids were all so excited to spend the afternoon in the sun. Go figure, today was cloudy, wet, and cold:( Just miserable out! So we went to plan B instead! We had an all out "sesame street party" Kennedy's 2nd favorite! lol
We had a blast anyway!

Mommy & The Birthday Girl!

She couldn't wait for the guests to arrive, had to sneak a lick!

"The Spread"

Her cake & cookies for the kids!

The goodie bags

Instead of presents this year we decided to collect non perishable food items for our cities food bank. Mostly because we are just simply out of packing room to take anything else with us back to Charleston. But giving back is a great feeling too!

Some people ignored the rules and brought gifts anyway, just kidding
she loved her gifts!

Some of her friends, missing a couple

We raced with an egg on a spoon! Kennedy lost because of mommy's bum foot! haha

We played pin the nose on Elmo!
(Thank you to papa for making me an elmo and cookie monster at the last minute, you're the best!)

and pin the cookie in Cookie Monster's mouth!
(Kennedy & Brayden)

and we each made a foamy craft

Taking a break from games with Uncle Bubby

She LOVED when everyone sang Happy Birthday!

By this time she was so tired, she laid her head on the table to eat her cake!

And passed out even before all of her guests were gone!

So did Papa and Baby Blake! haha

Thanks to Everyone who made her party so special! We are so blessed to have such great friends! Love you all!

Happy Memorial Day 2010

JUNE IS HERE! JUNE IS HERE! I can't believe only 2 more months until Kendal is home for good! Time sure is flying by! We spent the week playing outside and enjoying the sun! I LOVE summertime, Can't get enough of it! Kennedy's 2nd birthday party is coming up this Sunday and I can hardly wait! It's going to be a blast! We didn't do anything too exciting over the long weekend but had a lot of fun around the house~ with it being Memorial Day I would just like to say to my incredible husband...
I am so proud to be married to such a selfless man, one who has chosen to defend each one of us on a daily basis and help to protect this land we love! I LOVE MY AIRMAN!
To all of those who have served or are currently serving this great nation of ours, Thank you!! It is because of you and your sacrifices that we live so freely!

Hope you enjoy the photos!

Out for our morning walk!!

Loves to water Grammy's flowers

MMM, they smell so good!

Playing in her water sink
Cooling off in her pool

Getting ready to go on a bike ride with Papa

Watering more flowers

Going out for her first ride in Grammy's car...SHE LOVED IT and now her Daddy can't
wait to get back so he can buy another Jeep and go out for rides with her!

My Friend Shannon (who I moved to Charleston to live with back in 2006) and her family are home to visit from Portugal. We took the kids to Kiddie Park this week!
The girls had a blast and we love watching them playing together!!!!

She had so much fun on the boats the 1st time that I put her on them while the big girls were on a roller coaster. Apparently she prefers a buddy to ride with because she totally freaked out! They had to stop the ride so I could get her off! haha!

So we hopped on the Merry-Go-Round and she was all better!

Reading a story to her best buddy, Aubrey!
This is what happens when you spend all day in the hot sun!
Crazy hair and crabby attitude! lol
Wrestling with Papa

And with Grammy

She spent all weekend either outside or cooking
in the Kitchen with Grammy
Mashin...making banana bread! mmmm

Making pudding! mmmm

I remembered to take a few pictures of her
eating healthy things this week!

My big news this week!
Thursday afternoon while watching Kennedy & Aubrey, I managed to fall down the steps in my parents family room for the 4th or 5th time this year! I have broken my ankle 2 times and sprained it multiple times since high school. This time the pain was different. I tried to ignore it for as long as possible but around 10pm I asked my dad to drive me to the emergency room. Sure enough it wasn't my ankle~this time I had broken my foot! I was in shock! I am now stuck on the couch, or hobbling around on crutches with sore armpits. My foot has to stay wrapped and in a big ugly boot! The Doctor says it could take up to 6 weeks to heal but I seem to be doing pretty well. I am able to put some pressure on my foot now and am just praying I can limp with out crutches next weekend for Kennedy's party! I leave for Charleston in 3 weeks to go house hunting and there is no way I am going to the beach on crutches! haha!

Kennedy stops by every once in a while to check up on me!

Earlier this week, I took Kennedy to the cemetery to put flowers on my grandparents grave.
She loved it there, so much room to run!

My parents took her again this weekend to put flags
on my Grand Father's Grave for the holiday!

She also got her first set of bloody knees this week! She walks up to us and points to her knees and says "ma boo boo" Poor thing, my dad took these pictures with his phone...to be honest I think I was more upset than she was!

A bandaid with Kittys on it:)
Made it all better!

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
