Party Time!

This past Friday night we got all dressed up and headed out to
Kennedy's very first wedding. Our friend
Tina was married out in Dorchester, SC ( about 45 minutes away)
Kennedy was so funny when we first put on her new dress.
It had a lot of tulle underneath it and she couldn't stop
playing with it all night. She kept rubbing it, kicking it, eating it,
anyway she could get her hands on it...
she was just so fascinated by the something new!
We had a lot of fun but had to laugh when we were
headed home at 9pm on a Friday night, times sure have changed!
Kennedy had been up since 3 o'clock and was pretty fussy s
o we had to duck out shortly after dinner.
Congratulations Tina & Wade, we hope you have
many long and happy years together!!

ON A SIDE NOTE: We are heading up to
Charlotte tomorrow evening and then flying to Iowa Monday morning!
We will be gone until the following week but
I will try my best to update the blog while we are away!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Family Dinner

For those of you who don't already know.... There was something in
the water/sweet tea last year! In our little group of friends...
All four of us have added a new addition to our families in the past 6 months!
Almost three years ago, we started something called "family dinner"
with our friends Brian and Andrea on Sunday evenings. Seeing as
how all of our real families live so far away we decided to create our own
little "Carolina" family! We try to get together at least 2-3 Sundays a
month and have dinner together. Our family has grown over the past
few years and it is so fun to all sit around the table and talk about our
week and since we all have kids now, its such a nice, comfortable, relaxing time!
This week dinner was at our house!
We had Chicken Shish-ka-bobs w/ potatos,
macaroni, and fried apples...w/ chocolate brownies for dessert of course!
We finally sat down and took some pictures of all of us together,
although its a little difficult to get four babies to all be happy and
look in the same direction, we're just glad we actually remembered
to take some photos this time!!!

We don't know how it happened, but all of the men
ended up in the kitchen cooking:-) We were bummed that
Jamie's husband, Uriah, had to work and had to miss out...
but here are the boys!

5 months!

I can't believe it!!! 5 months old????
We went out shopping tonight and the whole time I just kept staring at her...
when did she get so big? And this personality?? When we got home
Kendal gave her a bottle and was getting her ready for bed and I lost it.
I was sobbing on the couch...He was like, what is wrong with you?
I told him, she's going to be going to school before I know it,
She's going to be 13 and stomping up the stairs telling me she hates me,
and then I'll blink one more time and you'll be walking her down the isle!
He told me I was crazy and continued to go upstairs...
but when he came down he had a look of concern on his face...
I asked him what was the matter and he replied...
Walking her down the isle?? Great! I just started her a college fund and
now I have to worry about a wedding too! I guess we both want
her to stop growing up so fast~ LOL!

Coastal Carolina Fair

This past weekend we headed out to the annual Coastal Carolina Fair! We spent the day with great friends and ate our favorite fair foods! There was a pretty bad stomach bug going around that weekend and no one was feeling all that great (Kennedy even managed to puke on me four times while at the fair, so no pictures of mommy...lol) Afterwards we headed over to Brian and Andrea's house to hang out and eat Chinese. We had a really nice time even if we were all sick!

Happy Halloween

Our first Halloween with Kennedy was unfortunately quite uneventful! Mommy and Daddy both had food poisoning from the night before and they were very very sick. Mommy spent the entire day with her head in the toilet and Daddy was exhausted and very weak! We dressed Kennedy up and drove over to our friends, Brian & Andrea's house anyway to help them pass out candy to all of the cute trick-or-treaters and watch a scary movie. I'm sure we will have much more fun next year...and we'll just have to remember NO JAPANEESE food the night before!!!

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
