Happy Memorial Day!!

We hope everyone had a great weekend! We were very busy as usual. I was not very good about taking pictures this weekend but my wonderful husband thought to capture some on his cell phone so I do have a few to share (even if the quality of them isn't too great.) My apologies!
We started the weekend at my very favorite Greek restaurant with our good friends Chris & Jess and then hung out at our house doing our usual...watching cops & eating ice cream! (Boy are we exciting...lol) Saturday we went out to a Luau birthday party with all of our friends from Kendal's work! It was the only day this weekend that we had decent weather. It has been raining in Charleston for a little over a week now!! Sunday was spent with some really good friends of ours having a cookout and playing games all night. And Monday we headed out to Chris & Jess' Mom & Dad's house for another cookout! We had a blast with everyone!
Kennedy will be 1 in about two weeks now...So birthday party planning is underway. She is having two parties! One here with all of her friends and then one up at my parents with all of our families! What a spoiled little princess! The countdown to Kendal leaving has begun. Officially two months until the dreaded day:-( We have started packing up a few things here & there and trying to be as prepared as possible! Other than that, its life as usual! We hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Love to all!

Saturday Morning we woke up with a serious case of bed head!

A friend of ours just got a new bulldog puppy. He is 8 weeks old and I tried my darndest to steal him...but it just didn't work out- lol! If you know anything about me, I've been begging Kendal for months and months to get a puppy and a bulldog is my dream dog...So I was in doggie heaven!

Hanging out with her boyfriend! They love each other so much!
OHH, her and that tounge

While Mommy cut coupons, Daddy & Kennedy read the Sunday paper together! lol

11 months with Chard-Panzee

Let me tell you...all of this crawling is exhausting work for Mommy & Daddy. Taking her 11 month picture was nearly impossible. Now that she has figured out how to move around on her own, getting her to sit still for 30 seconds is a HUGE task. I tried taking her picture by myself the other afternoon and quickly realized that it was a two man operation. as you can see in the following photos she is constantly busy. Her stats are...20lbs, 28 inches, and full ball of energy! I can't believe she is about to be the BIG #1!! Where has the time gone??!

"Kennedy, look @ Mommy"

"Put Chardpanzee down"

"No Baby, Sit down"

"Kennedy Elyse Sit on your Butt!"
"KENDAL, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!"
Thank God Daddy was standing by with his cat like reflexes!!

The only decent one I got!

Splish Splash

This week marked the end to Kennedy's swimming lessons. We are kind of sad about it to. We really enjoyed watching all of the babies progress over the past almost 3 months, and of course we loved having dinner with our friends twice a week for the past 11 weeks or so. Kennedy has learned so much in this class & had a blast too. She is now kicking and using her arms, she goes under the water no problem, she float with only one hand under her and she has almost mastered bubbles! I am very impressed with all that she has learned we thank you Miss Ruth-Ann and we will surely miss you!

Grammy & Papa Came to visit!!

I know, I know, I've been pretty bad about blogging in the past two weekends but we really didn't have anything going on until this past week! Ever since I moved away from home about every 6-8 weeks I start to get pretty homesick. So I knew my dad had some vacations days he was about to loose if he didn't use them up and my mom had a couple of extra days off this past week so I begged them to come down and see us since we haven't been together since Disney World in Feb! We had a great time, and the best part is that Mom, me and Kennedy all got to spend Mother's Day together!! As usual we stood in the driveway this morning hugging and crying while saying goodbye! But we only have to wait 5 more weeks until we are all together again, this time we will be celebrating Mom, mine and KT's first birthday's together (we are all June b-days) Thanks for everything Grammy & Papa we love you so much!

My parents arrived at mid-night on Wed. so Kennedy was already in bed for the night. So the next morning (when she decided to wake up @ 6am) we snuck into Grammy & Papa's room to wake them up too! Kennedy talks to them every night on the web cam, so I think she was stunned to see them in person! They spent the morning reading books and watching cartoons while Daddy & Mommy got to sleep in, WAAHOOOO!

We spent a lot of the weekend outside, where bubbles were the main attraction!

Then as most of you know, she figured out crawling....SO EXCITING!

We hung out at the beach for a day!

Happy Mother's Day

Then it was time to say goodbye, Papa tried to fit KT in his suit case but she just wouldn't fit!

YAAAAY! She's finally crawling!!

Well its official, my baby girl has finally joined the crawling club!!! She has been going from her butt to her knees for about 2 days now but then would just flop to her belly and start going backwards like usual. My mom & dad are in town this week and after spending almost all day on the floor with her~ she just hopped up on her knees and took off after my moms camera! I was in shock and just so happen to be holding the video camera in my hand taping her playing with them~ So excited to be sharing this moment with everyone! Hope you enjoy!!!! Love to all!

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
