Friday was my birthday and my wonderful girlfriends had planned for everyone to meet at one of the local Mexican restaurants for a great dinner and then back to our house for ice cream cake! We had the best night, thank you to all our great friends who could join us!!

This morning we had plans to spend the day at the beach, however, Kendal had scratched his eye pretty bad and could barley stand the open it. So we had to spend most of the day in the house, until Kendal started to feel better (around 6pm) so he decided he wanted to go on a walk w/ Kennedy in her new wagon and play at the park a bit!!! It was such a beautiful breezy day and we had the whole park to our selves!!! Happy Fathers Day "Addy"

Birthday Photos!!

We just received our photos from last weeks shoot with our amazing photographer, Kayce Dawson. I have to admit Kennedy wasn't being as fun and silly as usual so I was a bit concerned about how the pictures were going to turn out. OH MY GOSH, do I love them all. I can't pick a favorite ~ and the minute I saw the pictures of Kennedy & Kendal w/ the flag I couldn't help but tear up! I could not wait to post these and share with everyone! Hope you all enjoy!!
Thank you Kayce :-)

Birthday Fun

Today we celebrated Kennedy's birthday with a super fun party! The party was held at one of the pavilions on the Air Force Base and all of her friends came out to see her! We feel so blessed to have such great friends and we are so thankful for all of the gifts she was given! We are having one more party for her in just two weeks up in Ohio so both sets of grandparents can get in on the celebration!!!

Party Time

Enjoying a snack w/ her friends and showing off her new ride!

Then she realized it was cake time!

"You mean I get to do this again, Mommy?"

MMMMM!

Then she decided she loved cake so much, she started to roll in it!

Then mean ole dad took her cake away:-(

So she took a bath in the slip-n-slide and that made it all better!

Opening Presents!

All tuckered out after a busy day...Mommy couldn't find her pacifier to help her go to sleep, so she was resourceful and found the next best thing!

Summer Fun

We were pretty busy this week. Tuesday, Kennedy and I met up with some of the ladies from our Mommy's Group and headed over to one of our local beaches (Folly Beach) to see two sea turtles re-released into the wild! It was one of the neatest things I've ever witnessed. We spent the rest of the afternoon on the sand soaking up the sun! Here are a few pictures from the afternoon!

She found open road and took off....now that she crawls it was pretty
tough to keep her near the group!
Her first trip in her new car seat! She thinks facing
forward is just about the greatest thing that has ever happened to her.
She is so quiet in the car now, she just sits back and stares out the front window!

She is absolutely in love with pickles these days and whenever we are in a restaurant and there is one on our plates, she can immediately identify what it is and screams until we let her have it...Daddy gave her a bite of his pickle this afternoon and she refused to give it back...he had to pry it out of her mouth!

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
