24 days to go!

Another week is behind us! Only 24 more days until Kendal is home! This past week was St. Patty's day! It was a little too cold so I decided not to take Kennedy downtown for the big parade and opted for a play date with our friends instead! We had a blast! Kennedy loved playing with Madison & Mckenna and we have decided to make it a monthly thing:) The weather has been crazy all week. Some days it is beautiful out and others rainy and cold. Hopefully, April will bring more sunshine than rain! Kennedy is finally cutting the rest of her molars. She is beyond miserable so we stayed closed to home this week! Lots of days spent in our Pjs coloring pictures for Daddy and reading books! I would write more but I have 2 teething & screaming children at my feet who are desperate need of some cuddles. Love you all!

Play date! The girls love playing ring around the rosie!

Stephanie and her two adorable girls Madison and McKenna

Grammy made dirt cups for our playdate! They were a hit and Someone I know just couldn't get enough...Once again you see who is in the picture helping her induldge in sugar..LOL! Just teasing Ma!

"AIRPLANE" She screams every time one goes by. We wave at "daddy" flying over head!

She is slowly getting over her Cat obsession and is moving onto something else...Any guesses as to what that may be? LOL

Every night when I say its time for bed, Kennedy jumps up on the couch and cuddles under a blanket with my mom. My mom tells her as long as she shuts her eyes she can stay. My mom happened to be at work this evening & when I told her it was time she jumped on the couch as fast as she could & covered her eyes for a whole 10 minutes...too funny not to share

Begged Papa to take her outside in the cold so she could walk her baby. One bat of the eyelashes and off they went! lol

Such a good "mommy" She walks that baby every day!

Here's what we did this weekend! Nice and Lazy!!!

Last night she helped my mom decorate for easter!!! We can't wait for Daddy to come home and take her on her 1st easter egg hunt!!!

Today we are cutting more teeth:(
Fever, refuses to eat, and just wants to cuddle!

We have been blessed with the most beautiful weather this week! 70 degrees and sunny! What else can you ask for in the first week of March?? We spent almost everyday this week outside! Kennedy was in heaven! She would throw a temper tantrum every time I brought her in the house, I'm sure that will wear off by the end of the summer! Unfortunately it is back to 45' and rainy but those few days of sunshine really did us some good! Kennedy is only 3 months away from the big #2 now! Kinda scary! We are super excited about Kendal coming home, another week closer~ only 32 more days!! I am planning all sorts of things to do while he is home & even booked a little one day get-a-way for the 2 of us in Amish Country and I can't wait!! This is Kendal's last week of working 12+ hour days. Back to a regular schedule, YAY! He can't wait to get a little break from that place. Other than just counting down the days, its life as usual for us! Hope everyone is doing great and staying healthy! Here are our pictures from this week, enjoy!

On a Walk With Grammy!
(not as cold as it looks)

Another "nature walk" with Grammy
Daddy bought us a bike trailer/jogging stroller last week and had it shipped to the house!
Testing it out for the first time!
SHE LOVES IT!

Side Walk Chalk with Aunt Carli:)

My Dad and I took her to Chuckee Cheese for the first time for dinner tonight!
She was fascinated by it all~ and LOVED Chuckee! She was begging him to hold her! haha!

"WHOA!"

Driving
Some how we hit the jackpot...
We didn't even know how to play the game.
Kennedy was just facinated with putting the token in the machine~ all of BIG kids swarmed around us and
wanted us to show them how we did it!
Thats my girl!

SUGAR HOUSE...my Mom wants me to put in a disclaimer.
My child does not only eat sweets she does eat healthy things too
but everytime I post of picture of her eating,
she is eating junk with the help of Grammy!
Next week I will post a picture of her eating a carrot (which is no fun!) lol
Aunt Carli is the most guilty of them all!
Ice cream!

And YES! We are sure to brush her teeth, each and everyday!
Don't worry! lol

Spring Is Near!!!

I LOVE THE SUN! I am so excited, spring is near! The sun has been shining brightly everyday this week. The temperature has been in the high 40's! The snow is melting!! We have been able to play outside~ And we have so much to look forward to season! Kendal will be home in just 40 days!!! "Nana" & "Pa" Tripp are coming to town for 5 days~ (longer, if I can convince them!!) and we only have 22 more weeks until we move back to Charleston!!!! Life is certainly starting to look brighter!
Since the weather was so nice we stayed very busy this week! I included a bunch of photos! Hope everyone is enjoying the turn of the weather as much as we are! Lots of Love!

Last weekend when it was still super cold out! Papa pulled her up and
down the driveway in the sled!
All Bundled Up...
Running down the sidewalk...had to get out and burn some energy!

We went to the local Nature Center with some of my girlfriends earlier this week!
She loved looking at all of the animals!
Checking out a Lizard with Lindsay and Baby Aubrey!

Looking at a skunk with her buddy, Brayden

They are so cute together!

Potty Training is underway. We are taking it very slow. We try and go every night before getting our PJs on for bed. We sing songs and read books and sometimes I sit there for 45 minutes entertaining her. Tonight I decided it was Kendal turn. After just 3 minutes on the potty she went. GEEEEEZ! Daddy always get the easy way out!!

Back to the Nature Center. This morning we went to a 20 minutes class called Twinkle Tots. The show was in the planetarium and was very fun! We will definitely do it again when daddy comes home!

Touching a Snake for the very first time

After class we went out to lunch at one of my favorite childhood restaurants, Friendly's! (Guaranteed ice cream) Kennedy got a Sundae and kept saying "yum" after every bite~ so funny!

I tried to take it from her when she was finished and of course she screamed. She had to lick every last bite out of that dish and then she left with out a fight! LOL!

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
