1 week to go!

I can not believe this year will be over in just one week! Kendal has moved out of his apartment and into a hotel room on base. His belongings have been picked up and should be on their way back to the states! He is finished at his office and is just completing all of his final out processing. In just 1 week and 9 hours we will have our arms wrapped around one another and the best part...I won't have to drive him back to the airport 12 days later!! I'm so excited!

Kennedy & I have been staying incredibly busy... soaking up as much fun with friends and family as possible before the big move~ The next time I blog~we will be in South Carolina in our new home!! Please say an extra prayer for us during our travels! Love you all very much!

Checking on her "Bub"

My Brother an I spent last Saturday afternoon baking Zucchini Bread~mmmm!

And I won the bake off! LOL!

Kennedy always wants to go outside when it rains and I never take her~
so last Sunday morning, while still in her pajamas, I took her outside! She loved splashing in the puddles!!

We went to Aubrey's 1st Birthday Party! She was born just 4 days before Kendal left for Korea!

15 days and counting...

Only 15 more days to go! We sure have stayed busy during our last few weeks. The days seem to just be flying by. My friend Shannon (who I lived with when I first moved to South Carolina) is still in town with her family before moving to Italy! We have been taking the kids on all sorts of outings over the past two weeks to keep ourselves busy! I'm still packing boxes daily and getting everything in line for the big move! I'm so excited!!! Hope you are all enjoying summer as much as we are! Love you all!

Shannon & I took the kids to the drive in theater. We had chairs and snacks all set up outside of the car and then out of no where it started pouring rain! We were trapped in the hot car all evening but had a blast!!!

We also visited a local farm. We took Kennedy there the last time Kendal was home~she loved it so much I wanted to take her back one more time before we moved! The kids loved it!

The Carriage that took us all over the farm!
When we got home my mom asked her how she liked the farm and all she kept saying was
"eeewwww, the horsey pooped!" thats all she could remember... so funny!

Her first pony ride!

Milking the cow

we were all in love with these baby piglets! 2 days old!

What a weekend! We stayed super busy over the long holiday weekend and had a lot of fun! We are down to exactly one month until Kendal moves home! Packing and Preparations are slowly beginning and I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am! I hope you all enjoyed the weekend! Love you all!

Friday night, Kennedy and I were invited to Join a bunch of our friends at the Lake Erie Crushers Baseball game! Our seats were in one of the club house and we had a blast. Kennedy spent the evening chasing around her little friends and dancing to the music! At the end of the game there was an awesome fireworks display! Kennedy loved them and kept screaming "more, more"

Some of the gang...
Dancing...
Watching the game!
Saturday Evening we went to see more fireworks with Grammy and Papa at the park!

My little Fire Cracker
Helping Papa push the wagon!

Reading stories while we wait!
Glow sticks~ so fun!
Kennedy has a little bad habit that she picked up from me (that I'm not very proud of) I tend to say "Oh My God" quite often. Well, guess who picked that up...could be worse I suppose.
Anyways, while watching the fireworks she yells out (very dramatically) "Oh My God, PAPA...They're green" too funny...now if you ask her about the fireworks, she tells you every color she saw! haha
The next morning we woke up and headed outside to watch the annual neighborhood bike parade!
Waiting for the bikers

Giving Uncle Bub some kisses before bed~
Sunday we went to the valley to go on a hike!

She made a mad dash for that water...she wanted to get in so bad!

She started climbing the overlook. Thank god my parents were there to grab her, she has such a tight little hold it took both of them to get her down! I accidentally snapped this as I was running to help! What a monkey!

Faster Guys....
All worn out from a super fun weekend!

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
