"I'm going where there is dignity and grace, I'm going to Charleston, Sc"
-Rhett Butler

I know, I know, I know, I'm behind! But as I wrote in my last blog Kendal and I had some out of town guests with us the last two days and we stayed VERY busy! Lindsay, Lauren and Glenna got to Charleston about 2pm on Tuesday afternoon! We immediately headed out for the beach! It was a windy day but that didn't stop us. We set up our chairs and towels and went running for the water like little girls! It was a bit cold at first but we jumped right in! We played in the water, collected some sea shells and layed out in the sand! Afterwards, we headed for the board walk and got some ice cream and then walked the street and visited all of the little gift shops! We came home around 5:30 and waited for Kendal to get home from work! Then we went to my FAVORITE Japanese steak house, KOBE! We had a hilarious chef and the food was excellent! The girls tried Sake for the very first time! I have to admit, although I don't drink, I was a bit jealous because Sake is the one beverage I LOVE to indulge in! But they enjoyed singing the ridiculous song that the entire restaurant sings whenever you do a shot and having the chef fling shrimp in the air and having them try to catch it in their mouths! It was the most fun we had ever had at the steakhouse, considering Kendal and I are bi-weekly visitors!
Today, Kendal had to go into work so it was just a girls day! After I finally got the ladies moving this morning we drove into downtown Charleston! We couldn't have hoped for a better day! It was beautiful out! We walked for a good 3 and a half hours all over town! I was their personal tour guide for the day! We visited Waterfront park, the old town market and plenty of historical buildings! The girls couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the town was and how much fun they were having! At one point Glenna told me she now understands why I never wanted to come back to Cleveland after living in a place like this! We live 25 minutes from the Ocean with palm trees rounding every corner and enough history and ghost stories to keep me entertained for years to come! She reminded me how wonderful my husband is and how blessed I am to be living such a dream! I couldn't help but get a tear in my eye, because it couldn't be more true! Dreams really do come true!
I had a great time these past few days, thanks for coming down to see us "Bestfriends" I love you all so much!
