Disney World

What a week! I can't believe how quickly it has flown by. Last Thursday evening Kennedy woke up screaming at the top of her lungs and tugging on her ears. She had been fussy all day long so we new something was definitely wrong. Going to Disney World with a sick baby was the very last thing we wanted to do so we headed up to the emergency room that night. Sure enough she has an ear infection. Thank goodness we were able to get her on her antibiotic before we left for Florida. I spent most of Friday racking my brain as to what we would need all week. Diapers, bottles all the usual but we had never stayed at a hotel with Kennedy before. I had to think of things like dish soap to wash her bottles and laundry detergent to wash smelly baby clothes, extra batteries for her swing and so on. We packed up the car~ went to Brian and Andrea's for a quick bite to eat and then off to bed. We woke up at 4am to tie up any loose ends, eat breakfast, and head off. The ride down wasn't too bad, about 6 and a half hours (which is a breeze compared to the 12 hour ride to my parents)
Once we arrived we met Grammy and Papa outside the front of the hotel! Kennedy had been crying in the car and the minute she saw my mom she started clapping her hands and was so excited! We checked into our room a little early, refreshed ourselves, and then off the Magic Kingdom! Kennedy didn't sleep a wink. There was so much to look at and so much to take in!

Country Bear Jamboree was our first event, I'm not sure she knew what to make of all of the bears dancing around on stage!

That was FUN! We'll have to go again when Kennedy's old enough to enjoy the park.

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
