Happy Memorial Day 2010

JUNE IS HERE! JUNE IS HERE! I can't believe only 2 more months until Kendal is home for good! Time sure is flying by! We spent the week playing outside and enjoying the sun! I LOVE summertime, Can't get enough of it! Kennedy's 2nd birthday party is coming up this Sunday and I can hardly wait! It's going to be a blast! We didn't do anything too exciting over the long weekend but had a lot of fun around the house~ with it being Memorial Day I would just like to say to my incredible husband...
I am so proud to be married to such a selfless man, one who has chosen to defend each one of us on a daily basis and help to protect this land we love! I LOVE MY AIRMAN!
To all of those who have served or are currently serving this great nation of ours, Thank you!! It is because of you and your sacrifices that we live so freely!

Hope you enjoy the photos!

Out for our morning walk!!

Loves to water Grammy's flowers

MMM, they smell so good!

Playing in her water sink
Cooling off in her pool

Getting ready to go on a bike ride with Papa

Watering more flowers

Going out for her first ride in Grammy's car...SHE LOVED IT and now her Daddy can't
wait to get back so he can buy another Jeep and go out for rides with her!

My Friend Shannon (who I moved to Charleston to live with back in 2006) and her family are home to visit from Portugal. We took the kids to Kiddie Park this week!
The girls had a blast and we love watching them playing together!!!!

She had so much fun on the boats the 1st time that I put her on them while the big girls were on a roller coaster. Apparently she prefers a buddy to ride with because she totally freaked out! They had to stop the ride so I could get her off! haha!

So we hopped on the Merry-Go-Round and she was all better!

Reading a story to her best buddy, Aubrey!
This is what happens when you spend all day in the hot sun!
Crazy hair and crabby attitude! lol
Wrestling with Papa

And with Grammy

She spent all weekend either outside or cooking
in the Kitchen with Grammy
Mashin...making banana bread! mmmm

Making pudding! mmmm

I remembered to take a few pictures of her
eating healthy things this week!

My big news this week!
Thursday afternoon while watching Kennedy & Aubrey, I managed to fall down the steps in my parents family room for the 4th or 5th time this year! I have broken my ankle 2 times and sprained it multiple times since high school. This time the pain was different. I tried to ignore it for as long as possible but around 10pm I asked my dad to drive me to the emergency room. Sure enough it wasn't my ankle~this time I had broken my foot! I was in shock! I am now stuck on the couch, or hobbling around on crutches with sore armpits. My foot has to stay wrapped and in a big ugly boot! The Doctor says it could take up to 6 weeks to heal but I seem to be doing pretty well. I am able to put some pressure on my foot now and am just praying I can limp with out crutches next weekend for Kennedy's party! I leave for Charleston in 3 weeks to go house hunting and there is no way I am going to the beach on crutches! haha!

Kennedy stops by every once in a while to check up on me!

Earlier this week, I took Kennedy to the cemetery to put flowers on my grandparents grave.
She loved it there, so much room to run!

My parents took her again this weekend to put flags
on my Grand Father's Grave for the holiday!

She also got her first set of bloody knees this week! She walks up to us and points to her knees and says "ma boo boo" Poor thing, my dad took these pictures with his phone...to be honest I think I was more upset than she was!

A bandaid with Kittys on it:)
Made it all better!

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
