Surprise!

What a fun weekend we had! My parents were on vacation in Washington, D.C. last week. They were supposed to head to Hershey, PA for the last part of the their trip...that's what Mom thought anyway. Dad and I had planned a secret trip to meet up in Asheboro, NC. Mom had no idea until Friday morning. She figured out something was up when their GPS started saying "head south on 95" She thought they were headed to my house! Tricking her was too funny! We met up at a hotel on Friday afternoon and hung out all weekend long. Kennedy was beyond happy to see Grammy and Papa and it made me smile from ear to ear to see her so excited! The big attraction in Asheboro is the North Carolina Zoo. The zoo is HUGE! Kennedy loved looking at the animals and eating all the treats along the trek! We had a blast~ thanks for everything Mom and Dad...Thanksgiving is just too far away!!!

Squeeling with excitement!!! She was so happy to see them!

Bed time stories with Grammy

At the zoo, she loved these turtles:-)

Playing on the slide with Daddy

OH MY was she in heaven! The zoo had a carousel!! We rode that thing at least 5 times

Cooling off in the mist with Papa

Time to say goodbye:-(

They didn't want to leave each other

We came home to a very rainy Charleston!
After staring out the window watching the rain she finally convinced Daddy to take her outside to splash in the puddles!
