Nana & Pa Visit

Last Saturday Nana & Pa made the long 20+ hour drive to come visit us for the week. We had a great time doing all sorts of fun stuff! Thanks for everything Mom & Dad, hope you enjoyed the week as much as we did! Enjoy the photos:-)

The Morning before Nana & Pa arrived we went to a Pirates & Princesses party for our little friend Lillian! Such a cute idea!

The birthday girl..

Our little princess (who wouldn't stand still long enough for mommy to take a picture)
Even the Big kids dressed up:-)

The next morning was spent cleaning and carving our pumpkins

Kennedy wanted nothing to do with the insides and kept saying "Ewww, Gross"

So we used a spoon instead!
And of course I forgot to take a picture of the final project :-(
Mom and Kendal made a cat and one that said
"Trick-Or-Treat"

That evening we went Trick-or-Treating
My adorable little
"Dorthy"

Dorthy with her Scarecrow and Glenda the Good Witch

She looked so cute!!

"Twick-er-Tweat"

"Thank-you Much"
(she's so polite)

Out with the gang

The next day we checked out one of the local plantations, Cypress Gardens.
We had visited the Gardens back when Kennedy was a baby but was excited to go back!

One of the best parts of this plantation is getting to row yourself around the swamp
and learning all about what lives in it

Its actually really pretty

Some of the wild life we encountered
(Yes, of course I freaked out and made the boys row the other direction)

My love

That evening Nana passed out haircuts:-)
Kennedy has her little curly flip back!!!

Painting with Pa...

On Tuesday we headed downtown
Unfortunately a cold front came into town
and we had to enjoy the sights all bundled up

Petting one of the carriage horses

We visited a local war memorial

Making a wish in the fountain

It was soooooo cold, but I just can't give up my flip flops!

Our state fair was in town this week, so that evening we checked it out
WE HAD THE BEST TIME!

Very 1st thing, Kendal and Kennedy rode an elephant!
Right after they got on the Elephant, it refused to move. I started to get really nervous that the giant animal was going to freak out with my baby on top of it, but, if you look closely you'll see why she wouldn't move...GROSS!! ( Of course my kid loved it) hahaha

That is one huge animal

She found Goats!!!!
Her Favorite, she told me it tickled when they nibbled out of her hand
LOL!

Her other love, the carousel

Driving the dump truck with dad
There has been some new construction around our house recently and she loves identifying all of the trucks, bulldozers, backhoes etc...
So this was right up her alley

My little cow girl :-)

Our last day was spent cleaning and organizing the garage.
Being Daddy's little helper

Reading bedtime stories with Pa!

About Me

Kendal and I have been married for 4 years. We have 2 gorgeous children, Kennedy and Colton, who are the center of our lives. We currently own a home in beautiful Charleston, Sc but with Kendal's career in the USAF things are always changing. We have decided to create this blog as a way to keep in touch with our friends and family who are unfortunately spread all over the U.S. and for our own personal memories! Enjoy!
