TGIF!
Well, its our very last weekend before becoming parents, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my husband for putting up with me for the last 9 months! I know I have been difficult (to say the very least) and he has been wonderful through it all! Whether it was bringing me a tissue because I was sitting on the couch crying for no reason at all, running out and getting me strawberry smoothies almost every night for 2 months straight, rubbing my feet (even though they smelled like rotten eggs after work) or attending EVERY SINGLE doctors appointment with me, Kendal has been the worlds most supportive husband/daddy-to-be every step of the way! When you read this, if you would, please keep Kendal in your prayers or send him a little sympathy e-mail...he needs it. Just the other night I had another, what I like to call, "hormone overload" and I told Kendal I needed to wash the kitchen floor. He looked at me and said, then go get the bucket and wash it. But I looked back at him with the most pouty face possible and said "I don't want to use that bucket anymore, I want a new one, and I want it to be pink!" He jumped up and said very loudly "Well then, by all means woman, lets go get you a flippin PINK bucket"
So we got in the car and drove to wal-mart. He held my hand and led me to the cleaning supply area and showed me a variation of cleaning buckets. I looked at them and then looked up at him and said "but they're not pink!" So he grabbed my hand and practically drug me to another area of the store and found me another group of buckets! But guess what...Those weren't pink either! So off we went, still on a mission. He found me, pink glasses, and pink bowls, a pink basin, even a pink shoe, but no pink bucket. As we continued on our hunt I found another group of buckets in the car area. These buckets were yellow, blue, green even orange. And after looking for a pink bucket for over an hour I was content to settle on the orange bucket. But not Kendal, he put that orange bucket down, grabbed my hand and tugged me the other direction. He said, we aren't leaving this darn store until we find you a pink bucket. After still searching for another 20 minutes and not having any luck, he let me buy the orange bucket. We laughed the entire time and on our way home Kendal looked at me and said, "its my turn to blog, I'm going to tell everyone how I spent my entire evening looking for a pink bucket because my wife is pregnant and crazy"
So, needless to say, I have decided to tell on myself for my hubs, because he's just to nice to rat me out! It just goes to show, that I do really have to worlds greatest husband and I couldn't have asked for any better! I love you so much honey, and I can't wait to see how well Kennedy gets you wrapped around her little finger too! J/K You're going to be an amazing daddy!
Have a terrific weeekend everyone!
